New Ferry Service Between Miami And Freeport Provides Travelers Another Option To The Bahamas And To

MIAMI, Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning this month, FRS Caribbean will offer direct ferry service from Miami to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.  The ferry provides travelers with another option to take advantage of seasonal offers for an overnight or long weekend stay.  The all-inclusive Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach is offering a Fall special with rates starting from $107 per person, per night, double occupancy.

The ferry service, which can comfortably sit more than 400 passengers, will operate three days a week, including Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will depart Miami at 8 a.m. EST for an approximate arrival in Freeport at 11:15 a.m. EST.  Passengers traveling from Miami during Saturday sailings will have one stop in Bimini before anchoring at Freeport Harbor. San Gwann previously supported transportation between Bimini and Miami and will resume its original services upon Grand Celebration's return to Freeport.
