Before Fame

He was in a band called T.T. Quick prior to joining Accept. Both of his grandfathers were musicians, which helped him learn music as a child. He took classical piano training for nine years.

As a child, he was inspired to became a musician after hearing The Beatles. He has been signed to the record label Nuclear Blast. He has also collaborated with the metal band Overkill. He also plays bass.
